To develop a strong local GREY POWER brand that is recognized as a powerful voice for retired Hamilton residents.

To be an effective advocacy body to Local Government agencies and effective policy on issues that effect our members
Objectives​
1. To protect the statutory right of eligible people to receive New Zealand Superannuation.
2. To support quality health care for all people regardless of income and location.
3. To advocate against discriminatory and disadvantageous legislation.
4. To establish and promote links with kindred organisations.
5.To be recognised by decision-makers as the voice representing all older New Zealanders.
Values
Compassion - Grey Power policies and advocacy are founded on compassion for those least well off. We strive with others to eliminate discrimination of any kind in policies and social practices.
Respect for others - We will never support or condone policies or actions that belittle, harass or intimidate. We will call out anyone who treats others this way.

I was the founding Pastor of a multi-racial church with folks from South Africa, Zaire, Zimbabwe and the USA attending. I understand the aspirations of different groups, willing to listen, show respect for their traditions. In order to lead, I must serve.
